ZOOOOM- how to increase the ATB speed in 2k3 to insane levels
Cherry, that german dude who's made all sorts of patches for Rm2k/2k3 has said in the past that he has a database of decompiled Rm2k/2k3 code that he's commented large portions of in the course figuring out what does what. If it's possible to change the speed of the ATB without major hacking, maybe someone should ask him to make such a patch? I know he has a patch that removes the Rm2k3 autobattle command, so he's done some small stuff with the DBS before.

post=138851Actually looking back at the earliest ones there were some things missing from the controls (like Emperor BD only stacked up to 9 unit builds at a time and patrol routes/waypoints were useless) that I don't know how I could play about now. They had everything just right by about Red Alert 2 but then EA had to screw everything up and make it all 3D. Also old live action cutscenes heh.
Whatchutalking about Kaempfer? The Red Alerts and C&Cs of yesterday are far easier to use. You can do things, like, select units and quickly identify buildings and passable terrain. With the newer 3D RTSes you spend more time fighting the interface than you do the enemy!

Not to mention the use of auto-tune (anybody can sing nowadays and not sound off-key nowadays!).
I hate it so bad that so many people use that nowadays. If you can't sing on key you have no business trying to both entertain with and make money off of it at the same time.

The recording industry on the whole is a humungous drain that unfortunately keeps managing to get others to prop itself up. Music needs less industry more touring! On that note has anyone here heard about the ridiculous tax that RIAA is trying to put on radio stations?
